Illustrata began with a simple idea – illustrations should be easy.
Easy, however, was the last word that the team at Life Innovators would have used to describe the process of building annuity illustrations on traditional platforms. Life Innovators has worked with more than 20 different insurers and built life and annuity illustrations on numerous platforms, all with the same frustrating set of challenges.
Lengthy documentation requirements for even simple page layouts. Complex and detailed specifications for output and user experience. Extensive actuarial resources required to replicate existing carrier models into the vendor’s proprietary system. Months of testing and reconciling. All of that just to get an antiquated user experience and static, inflexible output – at sometimes mid-six figure prices with timelines stretching 6 months or more.
Illustrata runs off of a completely different architecture than legacy solutions. Instead of rebuilding a carrier’s existing models and documentation in proprietary software, Illustrata simply provides a way for carriers to use what they’ve already built for internal use to power their external illustrations. It’s that simple. There’s nothing to rebuild or reconcile.
Illustrata allows carriers to deliver beautiful, flexible and interactive illustrations that are deployable anywhere through API at a fraction of the cost and timelines of traditional solutions. With Illustrata, illustrations are easy. Exactly the way they should be.
